“The night before I had to cook my dishes on TV, the pressure was ON. The thought of possibly embarrassing my ancesters with my lack of cooking skills in front of the whole world kept me up at 1:00am in the hotel room. To calm myself, I turned to my art practice and painted the Hong Kong dishes in watercolor.
I was thrilled to highlight my hometown dishes on television through my art. I hope you enjoy these watercolor creations.
